The year 2017 was again filled with inspiring and motivating activities. One highlight from the past year was the Annual Conference, in Brussels. Also a new type of event was launched this year, the YEAR Webinar, which is an easily accessible event that reaches a wide audience of our young researchers. To further elaborate on the innovative development of YEAR, a new concept of the seminars was arranged; combining a traditional seminar and a hackathon. In addition, a workshop was arranged in collaboration with NTNU, SINTEF, and the French Institute of Norway about Big Data and Energy Networks.
